Following an interview, you should:
- Send a thank you letter within 24 hours to all interviewers. Information on writing follow-up letters is available in most books on job searching and cover letter writing.
- Debrief with someone about the interview. Meet with a trusted individual to discuss your performance in the interview, how you feel about the company and the job, and what areas you think you could improve on in the interview
- Follow up with a phone call to the employer within several days of the time the employer told you a decision would be made.
