Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Customer service. Basic photography using a smartphone or point-and-shoot camera. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to be personable, outgoing, patient, professional and compassionate under pressure. Ability to participate and collaborate in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate typing, data entry and computer skills. Logic and reasoning.

Pay is commensurate with experience

Proven leadership and motivational experience, as well as customer service, and excellent interpersonal, organizational and written communication skills. Strong analytical abilities. Ability to utilize effective problem-solving/decision-making skills. Knowledgeable of federal, state and county animal laws. Minimum of five years of management experience required, in an animal shelter or similar organization preferable.

$50,000 to $60,000

High school diploma or GED. Facility Supervisor and Kennel Manager certifications. Three years related animal shelter supervisory or management experience preferably in a facility of similar complexity and size. Work in all types of weather conditions. Work in a noisy environment. Travel to engagements and media interviews. Stand for long periods of time. Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl to inspect shelter enclosures.

$35,000 to $40,000

Customer service principles. Shelter management system (Shelter Buddy) or other data management system experience. Basic photography skills using a smartphone or other point-and-shoot camera. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to be personable, outgoing, patient, professional and compassionate under pressure. Ability to participate and collaborate in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate typing, data entry and computer skills. Logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Good attention to detail. Math acumen and an ability to balance daily income and expense data. Love of animals and people.

$12-$15 per hour

High school diploma or GED. 1 year of kennel tech experience. This position is responsible for supervising kennel techs. Responsibilities include supervision of kennel techs and volunteer dog walkers, cleanliness of kennels and updating all kennel cards. Willingness and availability to work extended and weekend hours as necessary.

$12-$14 per hour

High school diploma or GED. Kennel techs are responsible for the overall cleanliness of canine kennels, walking dogs, feeding and the administration of medicines. Communicates achievements and concerns to Facility Manager. Handles day-to-day questions from staff and customers

Starting pay is $10-$12 per hour
