Responsible for planning, directing and managing all aspects of the manufacturing operations at assigned medical device or pharma facilities. Monitors facility operations to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Leads and manages a group of executive’s, engineers, technicians, supervisors etc. to achieve the organization goals and objectives. These include recruitment, training, development and people retention and performance management.
Manages manufacturing operations duties and activities for one or more departments or manufacturing facilities. Seeks to improve the organization's financial performance and competitive positioning through continuous improvement of production related processes. Studies the organization's manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
Supervises all functions of one or more of the manufacturing or facilities maintenance areas to ensure safe, timely, and efficient maintenance of production and/or facility equipment or area. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of a unit. Responsible for department safety and training.
Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair or improve products, components or assemblies. Analyzes, develops a evaluates systems. Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.
Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems. Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment. Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault to minimize downtime and interruptions. Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.
Follows established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization’s products according to specifications and schedules, volume, cost and waste targets or quality standards. Operates machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions. Monitors the quality of output to identify, discard or remanufacture products. Troubleshoots problems with input to team.
