MANAGEMENT TRACK -The Regional Vice President has a depth of professional experience and is responsible for the day to day operation of the office, business development efforts in the region and strategic staffing. They work with the President and Executive Team to achieve objectives and insure the long-term company viability. The President holds ultimate responsibility for company’s performance; is the “public face” of the company.
MANAGEMENT TRACK - The Department Head is responsible for the performance of the department/profit center, coordinating staffing, and making hiring decisions. They are active in professional organizations. The Department Head holds a degree in his/her specialty and has professional licensure(s).
MANAGEMENT TRACK - The Project Manager is responsible for supervising associates and projects, budgets and schedules, under his/her jurisdiction coordinating survey tasks with the needs of other disciplines. This position requires a degree and a PLS, in addition to three or more years of experience.
PROFESSIONAL TRACK - The Survey Crew Chief is responsible for decisions and actions of the entire survey crew in the field. They survey and investigate land surfaces to project precise measurements. This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least five years’ experience in the field. He or she may have some trade or college degree in surveying. The Professional Crew Chief holds a SIT with at least 5 years of experience.
TECHNICIAN TRACK - A Senior Project Technician typically holds an associate's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience. They coordinate work with Project Technicians as directed by supervisors, provide design and drafting, courthouse research, and assists with surveys under the supervision of a survey crew chief.
TECHNICIAN TRACK - With several years’ experience one can advance to Project Technician, an associate with a good understanding of the work they
are performing, the ability to perform certain design-relating tasks nature, and the understanding to assist with land surveying.
TECHNICIAN TRACK - Staff Technician holds a Technical school degree in drafting or a minimum one course, college-level drafting class and is capable of using Autodesk. Isett accepts interns with CAD design and drafting skills and knowledge of surveying concepts.
