Completion of the LafargeHolcim MMT apprentice program
Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice Apprentices work under a qualified Millwright and Foreman, while attending a 4-year apprenticeship program. Upon completion of Apprenticeship program which includes on the job training, apprentices are awarded their Journeyman Card.
Production Utility Operator/ Packhouse Attendant/Bulk Loader/ Material Handler/Storeroom attendant Able to show and take initiative based on sound problem solving skills. Able to be meet the ATF requirements as an “ employee possessor.” Good communications skills for use with co-workers, truck drivers, completing reports, etc. Thorough working knowledge of cement making process, related equipment, and plant layout. Complete familiarity with all material conveyance systems and methods. Aptitude for, and demonstrated ability in, wide variety of mechanical and electrical skills including proficiency in use of required tools and equipment. All training provided by LafargeHolcim.
Laborer Minimum education: High School diploma. Able to lift tires ranging from 20 to 100 lbs, and maneuver tires in excess of 100 lbs. Able to operate yard tractor, forklift and bobcat. Able to perform heavy lifting/physically demanding work for prolonged periods of time in extremes of climate/temperature. Able to climb stairs and ladders, work on catwalks or other unusual work areas. Commitment to the highest standards of safe work habits. All training provided by LafargeHolcim.
