Material Handler

• Aptitude and dexterity required for the operation of control systems and equipment.
• Solid communication skill required for completing daily reports, dealing with contract materials deliveries and co-workers.
• Able to operate heavy mobile equipment (includes 980H loader and D7 dozer)
• Able to operate smaller mobile equipment (Bobcats, forklifts, trucks)
• Able to operate plant systems including quarry crusher and unloading station
• Must be able to perform heavy physical activity, primarily related to systems troubleshooting and housekeeping needs.
• Must be able to regularly climb ladders, stairs and work on catwalks.
• Employee must be committed to the highest standards of safe and quality work habits. Employee must be able to work independently with an understanding of plant raw material needs on a by-shift and by-weekly basis.

• Minimum education: High School diploma
• Able to lift tires ranging from 20 to 100 lbs, and maneuver tires in excess of 100 lbs.
• Able to operate yard tractor, forklift and bobcat.
• Able to perform heavy lifting/physically demanding work for prolonged periods of time in extremes of climate/temperature.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders, work on catwalks or other unusual work areas.
• Commitment to the highest standards of safe work habits.
