Role: Work as a graduate nurse before you obtain your nursing license; LVHN’s Nurse Residency Program is the first in Pennsylvania to receive “Accreditation with Distinction” from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Professional Student Nurse Extern Requirements: Two clinical semesters completed
Role: Provide direct patient care, including treatments and diagnostic studies, directed by a registered nurse; provide other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a member of the care team

Technical Partner/Mental Health Technician Role (Technical Partner): Provide direct patient care, including treatments and diagnostic studies, directed by a registered nurse; provide other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a member of the care team
