Requirements: Graduate of nursing school
Role: Work as a graduate nurse before you obtain your nursing license; LVHN’s Nurse Residency Program is the first in Pennsylvania to receive “Accreditation with Distinction” from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Requirements: Two clinical semesters completed
Role: Provide direct patient care, including treatments and diagnostic studies, directed by a registered nurse; provide other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a member of the care team

Role (Technical Partner): Provide direct patient care, including treatments and diagnostic studies, directed by a registered nurse; provide other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a member of the care team

Role (Mental Health Technician): Assist in planning and implementing individual patient care and therapeutic groups to facilitate treatment for patients in the psychiatric inpatient unit, provide direct care to patients as necessary

Requirements: High school diploma/GED (POA); high school diploma and be enrolled and have completed your freshman year in a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing program (PSPOA)
Role: Provide continuous and direct one-to-one patient observation directed by a registered nurse to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
