The Township of North Whitehall is located in the northeast corner of Lehigh County and encompasses 28.5 square miles of area. The Township owns and maintains over 120 miles of roadway, greater than 100 acres of parkland, several buildings and structures and a fleet of equipment. The Township employs 23 full and part time employees and its population as of 2018 is 16,357 residents.

Public Works Director

High school diploma and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Critical thinking, personnel & time management skills desired. Leadership skills, customer service, regulatory & technology knowledge preferred.

Salary $80,000-$95,000 plus pension, medical insurance, etc.

Public Works Crew Leader

High school diploma and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Critical thinking & personnel management. Snow removal, lawn mowing, maintenance of buildings, fleet & properties.

Full time, $29.50 – $30.50 plus pension, medical insurance, etc.

Public Works Laborer

High school diploma desired. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Snow removal, lawn mowing, maintenance of buildings & properties.

Full time, $23.50 – $29.50 plus pension, medical insurance, etc.

Seasonal Laborer

Entry level summer position requiring ability to operate lawn mowing equipment and small tools for maintenance of parks, roadways, bridges, etc.

40 hours / week, $11.50-$14.50
