Kristina enrolled in the EARN Program in May 2022 and is truly a success. Prior to joining the program, she was working part-time, tip-dependent jobs in the food service industry, raising two children, and studying for her bachelor’s degree. While trying to balance these responsibilities, it became clear that she needed additional assistance to complete her education and embark on a career that would sustain her family. The EARN program offered support with childcare and case management to assist with focusing on her studies. While engaged in the EARN program, Kristina worked toward earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services with a focus on Early Adolescent Development. She continuously demonstrated commitment to her family and determination to complete her goals.
Kristina successfully earned her bachelor’s degree in February 2025 and is now working full-time. She obtained employment in her field of study as a Behavioral Health Technician at Passionate Thoughts Behavioral Counseling, making $26.00 per hour. She enjoys her work and is continuing her education by working toward her master’s degree.
Kristina continues her journey in the retention phase of the EARN program. Her path is a genuine example of success and commitment, and her career advisor enjoyed collaborating with her to support her family and goals.
