Each of our workforce centers work in partnership with Workforce Board Lehigh Valley, PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley, and organizations within that community to help the Lehigh Valley’s community members get the training and education they need to work.
Welcome Sessions
At any of our workforce locations, you can attend an orientation and discover what jobs are being created in the area including the resources available to assist you in finding training and employment. Meet workforce professionals who will help you navigate your employment and training options. Become informed on important job seeking subjects such as: how to conduct a job search, resume development, interviewing, and local job openings. Learn how to use PA CareerLink®, Pennsylvania’s online tool to connect job seekers to employers. Investigate the employment and training opportunities available through the PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley office.

All of our Career Resource Centers (CRC) are equipped with resources that would assist in making our services accessible to individuals with a disability.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nancy Dischinat, our long-serving and deeply respected Executive Director.
Nancy dedicated more than 40 years of service to the Workforce Board Lehigh Valley, shaping countless programs, partnerships, and careers throughout our community. Her vision and leadership helped build one of Pennsylvania’s strongest workforce systems, and her commitment to collaboration and innovation will continue to impact generations to come.
Nancy devoted her life’s work to building a stronger, more equitable workforce system for the Lehigh Valley. Under her leadership, the region became a model for workforce collaboration, innovation, and results, helping thousands of residents connect to meaningful employment and training opportunities.
Nancy was more than a leader; she was a mentor, a colleague, and a friend. Her legacy of integrity, compassion, and dedication to the people of the Lehigh Valley will remain an enduring part of who we are.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know and work alongside her. Plans to honor her life and legacy will be announced in the coming days.
