Everyone in a job search gets handed the same checklist: update the résumé, practice your answers, stay calm. Somewhere underneath all of that activity is a quieter, harder question that hardly anyone in the process helps you answer: who am I in this, and what do I actually want? The résumé can’t answer that. Until you have some version of an answer, the search feels like guessing, because it is.
You’ll leave with something more grounding than a tip or a tactic. Through a series of short exercises, you’ll begin to see yourself not through the lens of what you’re missing, but through what’s already there that you haven’t had language for yet. What are you genuinely good at? What kind of work actually fits the person you are right now?
You’ll leave this session with a clearer picture of where you are, where you want to be, and what one intentional next step forward looks like. And dragons, we’ll talk about dragons too.
