Your resume could make or break your chances of taking that next step in your career or landing your dream job.  Many job seekers struggle with writing a resume and marketing themselves to potential employers.

Andrea Grannum-Mosley, EdD., is the Director of Training and Development for Lehigh Carbon Community College, and she has kindly offered to facilitate a live webinar where she will take the topic of resume writing deeper than our very own, “Dos and Don’ts of Resumes” webinar.

Throughout the workshop, Andrea will expand on the different types of resumes, the best and worst items to have on your resume, action verbs, and more! Andrea and the Instructor Staff from CareerLink will also provide tips for your personal resume.

There will be a 15 minute grace period for late arrivals.

Earlier this month, PA CareerLink® staff attended the annual Pennsylvania Workforce Development Association (PWDA) conference. Conferences like these provide valuable opportunities to network with workforce professionals from across the state and stay informed on large-scale workforce trends, innovative strategies, and emerging industry needs.

By participating in these trainings and professional development sessions, our staff gains new knowledge, tools, and resources that help us better support our job seekers. Staying current on workforce initiatives and employer demands allows us to provide more effective guidance, stronger career services, and meaningful opportunities that help individuals succeed in today’s evolving job market.

Staff also had the wonderful opportunity to cheer on Cherelle, a previous WIOA program participant, as she received a Governor’s Achievement Award. Her success story was an inspiring reminder of the impact workforce programs can have on individuals and our community at large.
